"I was taken aback," she said of her response. "I thought, 'Oh God, this guy's so rude.' He was right. I was carrying around a lot of excess weight. It's almost like I didn't think of my own needs. I thought of a future child's needs; that really inspired me to get healthier." Wilson subsequently lost 80 lb. after embarking on a “year of health.”
And back in August 2023, Wilson told PEOPLE that the best part of her day was coming home to her little girl. "I throw Royce up in the air until she giggles, I tickle her and I help put her to bed.She just melts my heart," she said.
Wilson hasrecently become a mom of two, confirming the news exclusively to PEOPLE earlier in May. Wilson and Agruma said they werefeeling so gratefulto be parents again after a "long" journey with in vitro fertilization (IVF).
"We are so excited about new baby Rose, and for Royce to be a big sister!" they told PEOPLE. "Now we're even MORE of a girl power household! It's been such a long journey with Ramona, and I with IVF — anyone who's been through it knows the hardships and the ups and downs of fertility journeys that can often not end in a birth."
"So we are feeling really lucky and blessed right now, but also thinking of everyone out there who's struggling on the same path," they continued. "Ramona's pregnancy was high risk, and there were some scares along the way, but when everything came up roses yesterday, we were just elated and relieved."
In December, Agrumaannounced on Instagramthat she was pregnant and expecting the couple's second baby together.
"The happiest news in our family 🥰 it will be 4 of us soon! Baby number 2 is on her way ❤️❤️❤️❤️I love you@rebelwilson," Agruma shared in the joint post.
